Combined Campus Service on Sunday, July 18th in Parkesburg

We will be having a combined campus service on Sunday July 18th, 2010 at the Parkesburg Campus (160 Cowan Road, Parkesburg PA 19365)

Join us at 9:00am for a Connection Time with light refreshments, then for a Combined Service at 10:30am. Both Worship Teams will be joining together leading us in an awesome time of worship.

Feel free to bring along a light breakfast food to share with one another.

This will be a great time to connect with others as well as hear some exciting new direction for our church. Trust me…you don’t want to miss this service. It’s going to be great!

July 4th Outdoor service, Baptism, & BBQ

On Sunday July 4th @11am, we are planning an outdoor service, baptism, & BBQ at Pastor Mike & Naomi’s home (122 East Ruddy Duck Circle, Oxford).

We’ll enjoy a time of singing together and some thoughts from God’s Word. We’ll celebrate together as several people take the next step in their journey of following Christ, by being baptized. It will be an awesome experience to share together!

After the baptism, we’ll enjoy the day together by eating some good food, swimming, volleyball, Kanjam, and having some great conversations!

Meat & drinks will be provided, please bring a side dish or a dessert to share…see you there!

Community Easter Sunrise Service

Join us for a community sunrise service on Easter Sunday @ 7am.

The service will be held in the center of Oxford across from the Oxford Presbyterian Church. Several area churches will be participating in this service. Pastor Mike will be giving the devotional at the service.

Our main Easter service will be at the Penn’s Grove School @ 10:30am.

Blue Rocks Game & Fireworks

We have a block of tickets reserved for the Wilmington Blue Rocks vs. Frederick Keys on Saturday, July 17th @ 6:00pm.

The game will be followed by fireworks.

Bring your family and invite your friends to join us. It will be a fun family night!

The tickets are $10/person (1st base box seats)

Payment for the tickets is due by May 30th. (See Mike Hebb to pay for tickets)

Helicopter Egg Drop

Don’t miss this great event on Saturday, April 3rd at the Oxford High School. We will be dropping 20,000 Easter eggs out of a helicopter on to the soccer field in 4 age appropriate sections. This event is for kids up to 12 years of age.

There will be 4 separate age-appropriate areas which will be color-coded with big flags.

Green = 2-3 year olds

Yellow= 4-5 year olds

Blue = 6-8 year olds

Red = 9-12 year olds

There will be plenty of volunteers on hand to give you assistance.

There will be free drawings for great prizes as well as free snacks and drinks.

The event starts at 1pm, but we recommend that you come early. This event draws a large crowd!

Christmas Eve Family Service

Join us on Christmas Eve for a night of celebration as we celebrate Jesus.

It will be a time of singing together, a kids program, and participating together in the Lord’s Supper.

We will have light refreshments after the service.

The service starts at 7pm

iServe 2010 Youth Event – Rescheduled

Students from 7th-12th grade are invited to be a part of iServe 2010 in Philadelphia rescheduled for April 16th-18th.

The event will take place at Urban Hope in Philadelphia.

We are expecting about 150 youth from our district of churches to attend this event.

Pastor Mike will be this year’s speaker. This will be an awesome weekend where our youth will be challenged to “Be God’s Heart”, “Be God’s Eye’s”, “Be God’s Hand’s”, and “Be God’s Mouth”. There will be plenty of fun activities, as well an afternoon of serving in Philadelphia.
